Teen Mechanics Training
The WheelHouse aims to empower young people to learn more about bike maintenance to keep their rides rolling smoothly this summer.
Working in a group setting helps to develop friendships and communication skills while using cool tools to fix their bikes.
“Teens” of all ages (9-99) are welcome to join and learn these skills together to strengthen our community connection and enable a more sustainable transportation option for the future.
Community Bike Repair
These events will be supported by WheelHouse trained Teen Mechanics
The WheelHouse helps empower the Kids & Teens of our communities to become leaders and knowledge keepers.
Event sessions are designed to also empower individuals of our local communities to engage in bike maintenance activities and learn new skills, connect with likeminded people, and repair their personal bikes for a summer full of movement, healthy living, and will increase the likelihood that we choose a more sustainable mode of transportation for work, leisure, and community access.
